Where can i download the english version everquest? Help me!

I'm not sure if this works with the localized versions distributed in Europe, but it does work if you're having different language pack installed.

Try it :)

Edit the eqfecfg.cfg file in your EG directory.
[LANGUAGE]{ xx }

to

[LANGUAGE]{ 1 }

That should do the trick.

Oh thx u very much.It solved this problem. But a new problem appears. The error ID is 1017. What shall i do? Plz help me . a EQEmu newbie. I will thx u very very much. :D

First off, NEVER NEVER ask for an EQ download, you WILL be banned! Try reading the rules before you post.

Second, EQEmu does NOT work with the current EQ patch if that it what you have. Do not ask for previous version, again, you WILL be banned if you do.

Sorry to be annoying but how is it not allowed for people to post files from a previous if it was actually a patch which was officially released from Sony online. It was also released for free judging if you can run the game which is the only way to download it. However I never saw it say anywhere in the EULA about making it impossible for them to have their patches be downloaded from somewhere besides the games own natural patcher.

EQ is totally AGAINST EQemu, why would they allow us to use their files? Also, its kinda a rule at EQEmu:
1) No Warez (No Discussion or Providing of Warez). Warez is any file that has been obtained without purchase from the company or a "legit" vendor, or without the sole permission of the owner, or company is considered illegal and is not permitted on these forums. This also includes all EQ files and also means do NOT ask, give out, host, or in some other way promote the giving out of these files. This includes but is not limited to: The EQ Patcher, eqgame.exe, eqmain.dll, spdat.eff, cshome.s3d, cshome_chr.s3d, or ANY file downloaded with the Verant EQ Patcher (aka Everquest.exe) with the exeption of files that can be re-created within 10 seconds by hand (this means eqhost.txt is okay).

Because it is Sony's files to let people download, not anyone else's.

If you are still unsure about it, do a search for patcher and read one of the recent forums on it. Everything that is needed to be said has been said about 100 times, so it should be fairly easy to find.

Basically, if you have the newest patch, you'll have to wait a while before you can play, again. If you need more details, find a thread that has already been created on the topic and read it (not trying to be rude, btw).
