Since my idea of making a D2 server on EQ wasn't going to work due to legal issues, I am thinking of making a EQ mod for D2. Which is legal, D2 was made for modding. There are Baldurs Gate mods, why not EQ? :D
I do need help though. I am only experienced in txt and string editing. I need a graphic designer (to create new maps, monsters, items, etc...), and a DLL editor. This is a very long process, but very possible.
Level editing is VERY easy, will take about 10min to make the levels to 65 instead of 99. Skill changing to the most used EQ spells (can't use all of em). Change ALL the items in D2 with similar ones from EQ. This will be a VERY HUGE file, probably over 100MB, but people will download it if its good. The host for the download will be the Phrozen Keep, just have to chat to Jeff (the website admin).
