can I run EQemu ? :)

Hi all,
I tryed EQemu a while ago, and I found a wonderfull job on this emulator.
I had an EQ account still running, so I didn't use EQemu much but for testing the items and seeing the zones :)
I'm actually playing SWG and I cancelled my EQ account, but recently I felt like seeing where was your great project, if the zone issue was resolved, etc...
However after reading the forum, i'm wondering if i'll be able to even run it since there is this patcher problem that seems to prevent people with a fully patched version of EQ to play.
I ask that because EQ isn't installed on my computer anymore, I was about to install it to be able to test EQemu, but i don't feel like passing thru the installation plus the long patching process if i wont be able to use EQemu :wink:

Anyway, I'm glad and very impressed that you keep up the great work on this emulator, hats off to you guys :)

EDIT : ah well... I've seen some post, and a news saying i will be banned if I even breath about the patcher.
please don't do this, my point isn't to annoy you guys, it really isn't... however if this post is still too much please rather delete it than choose to ban me.

Hang in there Hisoka , the dev's are working hard to get 050 stable for a release , it's coming along nicely.
Although there is no ETA , and it's very hard to give one considering the nature of the changes and the amount of time each dev has to commit in thier spare time , it should be out soon and you will be able to use the emu again with the current patch.
I would suggest reloading , patching and waiting for the 050.
That way if SOE sneeks in another patch you won't be in the same situation you are in now , the wrong version for emu.

Thanks a lot for your answer tcsmyworld :) and sorry for the inconvenience.
I will wait and check the site often, and hopefully one day I'll be able to use EQemu again, maybe retry to run a server, first time I tryed ( about a year ago ) I succeeded in running an offline server, but I couldn't figure how to implement the item, even though i had the little software to do it (i have a very low knowledge in programming :p)

Hopefully one day i'll do all this :D
