Ok this is getting really old really fast, all these bugs anyway, but after the patch today I cant get on a server because of error 1017? Anyone know how to fix this?

eqgame.exe got updated on 8/26 and it appears to now look for the patch server when you actually connect to a game server. Not sure if there is a fix for this yet but previous eqgame.exe's work just fine. It looks like you might have to wait until someone can figure out how to fix this.

Just a thought if somebody who didnt patch sent out the eqgame.exe would that work or no?

That would be giving out a file owned by SOE which is against the law.
