couple questions ??

i am trying to create a server and i am using this guide

but i am not hooked up to a network as of yet
will i be able to create a server on 1 comp ? untill i can get my other comps moved up here ( in 2 months ) ?

and i am wanting this to be an offline server for me and some friends ..
so on all the parts were it askes for my ip addy would i just put in
127.0.0.1 ( hence i am wanting an offline server )

Yes. Server and Client work on the same computer.

You're talking about you and your friends, so I'm assuming you want to play over a LAN.
MiniLogin does work over a LAN, but not with 127.0.0.1 (at least not with multiple PCs), since every computer uses that one for itself.

You have to use your "real" IP address to play over a LAN.
