I am getting an error message after I boot5zones. Everything boots up normal, then this message comes up:

WorldServer Connect: Connecting to the server failed. Error: 10060
InitWorldServer failed
Entering Sleep Mode

World connects fine, no errors on that. How do I fix this problem? Thanks!

hehe, I got it fixed. It was a really stupid thing to. My computer, for some odd reason, changed the IP address, don't ask how. I changed the IP address to the one my computer now says is mine (wasn't the same yesterday), and it worked. hehe, thanks for help though ;)

Do computers change IP addresses once in a while?

Most ISPs use DHCP to set your IP Address, it is not determined by your computer. If your ISP uses DHCP (most Cable and DSL services will) then your IP Address is subject to change at anytime without notice. On the upside, usually this happens rather rarely.

A good way around there is getting a free dns name from a service like myip, or dyn dhs, and running a program that will check ever 10 minutes or so if you ip has changed, and then update the dns record as needed.

that way, instead of a numerical ip, you would use myname.somedomain.org to get to your box from the net instead of the ipv4 ip address
