i followed the EQ Emu guide on undergroundguides.com and it says to use EQW , i followed what it said but when i boot it up half the windowed EQ screen is under the start bar. How can i move this ? or fix it so it goes in the center.

What version of eqw are you using, and when did you last patch EQ ?

I use eqw2.32 with my EQ client patched Dec 2002 for 4.4 servers, and eqw2.35a with EQ patched just prior to Aug 26th 2003 for 5.0 servers, both work fine.

what version of EQW do you have?

Did you follow the directions for the settings for your desktop?

are you trying to get on Live or EMU?

What OS / video card do you have?

it just patched it recently. Also just downloaded EQW yesterday so its gotta be pretty new. And no i didn't pay for guide:)

If you patched EQ on or after 26th of August, it won't work with EQemu anyway :(

That website is an attempt by someone to make money off of our hard work. I don't know if what they do is considered illegal, but the owner markets the product in such a way that it looks like WE are the ones selling you the guide, which is completely false.

Given the misleading advertising and the fact that the guide is always outdated and usually incorrect, I categorize it as a SCAM. The most current information is found right here in the forums - which are completely free.

We don't make a dime for our work here - in fact, several team members lose money in supporting hosting costs. As such, I will not provide help to anyone in here who supports that site.

Case in point:
