Just wait for DR3 to be released and then...

Oh wait, nevermind. If you have never used MySQL before, please do not try to start your own server (This sentance should be on the front page in a H1 tag in all caps I think) You can try of course, but without understanding basic MySQL santax, it will be very difficult, and that also explains why there are thousands of people posting and complaining about '2006 errors'. (my suggestion to those people: Read the sticky and if you still have trouble, find a way to make $13/mo to pay for EQLive)

But, you would have to talk to the GMs/Admins of that server to get the permissions (Please dont /petition or /tell them repeadly that you want this - their job is hard enough without a whole bunch of noobs complaining  anyone who is a dev for anything understands this)

Actualy I had NO prior experience with MYSQL and i was able to start a server with little problem. All you need to do is read the forums, any issue you have has been resolved already just need to use search and do what others did to fix it.

Now the major issue i have seen is people not bothering to read and just posting there issue to the annoinance of everyone who has been here for a wile.

CANT should be CAN'T

Same Meck. When I first setup a server, I had no knowledge of mySQL. Since then (year +) i've learned tons about it and it's helped me with a lot of stuff.
