Eqhost, 5.0 help

Might anyone be able o tell me where to find EQhost 5.0? i cant find it on main eqemu.net site....im lost with out directions =D

right on the main page click on "Guides" then play 5.0

I tryed that, i need the actual file, right click, save as...ect. where is that?

You right click the link with your mouse, and then in the menu you will see "Save target as". Then navigate to your everquest directory and click save (Click yes when it asks to Overwrite)

or find the host file in the EQ directory then copy and past it on the desktop then copy whats on the web site and save it over the one on the desktop. thaqt way you can swap them out for when you want to pla live.

Sorry, my bad must have gotten updated =)) i found it thanks for the help

Personally I would use a DOS prompt, copy the original to eqhost.orig, use EDIT to create a eqhost.eqemu, and then copy whichever I wanted to use to eqhost.txt, but I am just a dinosaur ... can anyone say EDLIN ?

its not bad being a dinosaur. Its just weird when someone keeps using a slower way to get work done cause they "have always done it this way".
