Pardon if I make too many typos or such. I'm halway asleep. Just wanted to get this done.

FOOD IN THE AMMO SLOT: As mentioned in Series #1, sometimes when camping with invisible items on your cursor and a full inventory (more to the point, food/drink) you log back in and find your tasty treats in the Ammo Slot.
See Screenshots:

PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: FACTION: Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't Plane of Knowledge, Plane of Tranquility, etc., completely lacking in faction for general NPC's, such as guards and such? Since you can't attack or vice versa anything there. Were you guys just toying with faction tables when you did this? It should also be noted that the Wood Elf GM-Ranger in PoK was Amiable to me (Woody Ranger) and the Soulbinder was Dubious as well. All NPC's I thought to be factionless (I never did grasp that whole 'Beta Neutral' thing.)

PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: PART II ... Errr some things are best said with pictures.
See Screenshot: http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/CabilisStone.jpg

HARMTOUCH REFRESH: Apparently (unconfirmed) camping and relogging resets Harm Touch ammunition. First thing to come to mind is if this will also apply to AA Hot-Keyable abilites (IE: Gather Mana) and Lay of Hands. Second thing to come to mind is if Zoning is also resetting it.
See Unnecessary Screenshot: http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/HTRefresh.jpg

PROC EFFECT MESSAGES: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not. If you look at the screenshot, you'll notice my Baton of Flame (procs a 100DD) showed up as "Effect#1: You changed a_mob_00 hp by +100" ... the thing that's confusing me is the "+100" part. Wouldn't that be considered actualy healing the mob? Is it healing the mob? I can't tell by just looking. Is it just a glitch in effect reporting? Or am I just reading the report wrong?
See Screenshot:

PROC RANGE: This is simple enough. I got an Out of Range message on a weapon proc. Again, with the Baton of Flame. Though you might be thinking about how mobs run out of range constantly due to some buggy pathing, and the client reports "out of range" when you're actually hitting it, ... if you look at the screenshot, you'll notice the pathing on this mob was perfect, and at no point was he out of range. I should have gotten a /loc . . . It's in Firiona Vie in the middle of the pit.
See Screenshot: http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/ProcRange.jpg

SKILLS REPORTING: Even though all skills are being handled by the database correctly as far as I can tell (skill-ups and such), the skills are either being misinterpreted by the client-side Interface Windows, or mis-stored in the database. Same thing, really. :) In the screenshots, I've noted what belongs where, and isn't there. For Example, the 1H Blunt skill is showing up under the 1H Slashing row. (Thinking back to when I used to play with FQ Admin around May of 2002, I remember the skills being stored incorrectly then, too, for some reason. I may be wrong).
See Screenshot: http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/SkillsListing.jpg

SKILLS REPORTING/TRAINING: Again, with the skills. I don't know how to intro this. Basically, what I did was train 1 point into all my Languages just testing the waters, and Dragon and Vah Shir both gave the message I learned the basics, but no skill increase to '1' from '0' was reported by the skills windows.
See Screenshots: http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/SkillTraining.jpg

MOB SPAWN LOCATIONS: Should I/We keep record of faulty spawn locations? Such as in http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/c/sconnery/EmuSS/Series2/SpawnUnder.jpg? The amount of 'bad' spawn locations each of us must run in to a day is probably huge. Should we be keeping any sort of list of zones/locs/names, etc, or leave that on the list of "Things To Do Last?"

'TICK' TIMING: This is directly related to the FOOD IN AMMO SLOT from above. If you've played on a Legit 5.0-DR3 server where you actually have to watch your HP, you may notice from time to time the amount your HP 'ticks' changes from the standard 6 seconds, down to about 1 second. Usually it happens after equipping or unequipping items with an HP Modifier or HP Regen effect. But that's only temporary when that triggers the super-ticking. However, and this is the amusing part, with Food/Water stuck in the Ammo Slot, you have that regen permanantly as long as the Food/Water stays mis-slotted. No more 6-second ticks. They're all reduced to 1-second. So, I sit there regening 22HP per second with a Guide BP and Turtle Belt (the only functional HP Regen items at the moment, aside from Fungi.)

Anything to do with faction/portals not showing up/spawns/npcs and in some cases, items, are due to database issues. Those should be reported to each individual server through the /petition command rather than posted here.

Issues like spells not working correctly as well as the item cursor problems and skills etc should be posted here as they're most likely code issues. Sometimes stuff just isn't implemented yet though due to the fact the EQEmu is still being caught up with EQLive.

Later releases of 5.0-DR will have much more functionality most likely.

Well, the reason I brought this is up, is most of the servers use the same initial database to get all the spawns/items/etc, so they don't have to make that themselves, and then just add on to it. In that sense, I kind'a think of it as more than just a server-by-server issue. Thoughts?

I would welcome the info about the DB , can post list of findings on my webpage forums http://mwnpcmovdb.kicks-ass.net
Just make an account(free) and post in the bugs forum please.
I'm getting together a few good people to get this DB cleaned up and filled out.
The new alpha version DB's will be movement ready , so that when pathing/npc animations is working again , admins will be able to source in a grids.sql and have movement.
Thanks in advance for any feedback :)
