I'm currently having trouble retrieving the source files for eqemu source from cvs. I'm following the 0.5.0-DR3 server. Here is the error I'm getting.

C:\EqEmu\cvs>cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eqemu login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:2401:/cvsroot/eqemu
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: Error reading from server cvs.sourceforge.net: 0: No such file or directory

C:\EqEmu\cvs>

I currently have a .4.4 eqemu server but would like to build a new 0.5.0-DR3 server.

Any help would be apreciated.

Your syntax looks correct, but maybe something is funky with our CVS. Trumpcard - do you have any insight?

Nore Info:
I'm using the latest version of cvs which requied that I modify the path to c:\eqemu\cvs\wincvs\cvsnt. This was where the cvs.exe executable was located. That was the only real difference. As you see the cvs did execute.

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.eqemu.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eqemu login

works for me just fine.. You have to try it multiple times in a row occasionly... Sourceforge is VERY buggy... Alot of times you'll see weird errors like

cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

just try a few more times... eventually you should get in

Tried about 14 times. Finally got the files. Thanks.
