Dell has really awesome deals, if you don't mind their retarded commercials...

egghead.com is a great company for parts, and it's /. approved

You can find parts individually on Pricegrabber.com it is a really nice site in that it lists reviews of products... Just DO NOT buy SiS....

Their evil....

pricecheck.com is pretty good -

Also, always take a good look at CompUSA website, look for the rebates button - there are some good deal in there - ususally a little cheaper at online stores - but not always.

Stuff Ive gotten for work in the last 2 weeks from compUSA-

60G HD 49.99 after rebate.
1.8Mhz processor & MB 159.99.
17" decent monitor 109.99 After rebate.

Pricewatch.com had $2 more for the 60GB drive than you listed, but a decent 17" sells for $78.95 (http://www.pricewatch.com/1/34/388-1.htm) after shipping. A Pentium 4 1.8 + mobo combo + fan sells for $135 (http://www.pricewatch.com/1/306/4101-1.htm). 10/8/03, 4PM EST. The good 17" monitor from HP is a 1600X1200 monitor (beyond decent in my opinion), and sells for $99.99. It can be found in the same link as the $78.95 monitor.

Pricewatch has a lot of good prices, if you're willing to buy everything one piece at a time. I believe its lowest cost is 90% of the time the lowest cost you can get in an open retail market at any given time.
