Where is that wonderful worldbuilder, Drawde? I took 2 months off, and he disappeared.

I'm still there, but I haven't done any EQ/EQEmu-related work for ages - partly
due to other games and programming projects, and partly due to EQ patches and
add-ons constantly breaking EQEmu! This is the first time I've visited this forum in
almost 2 months.
Unfortunately the last time I patched my "live" EQ directory was shortly before the
release of LDoN, so I can't currently use 0.5.0 until the next new DR version.
However, thankfully I still have an 0.4.0-compatible installation of EQ. So some time in the
next few weeks I'll check everything still works and see if I can remember what exactly I was working
on last (I think it was Luclin loot tables).

I missed you! Welcome back, bud.

They brought back patcher. You can continue your work. Patch to current, then run the new patcher.

Good to see you're still around Drawde :)
I'm still very interested in your 044 DB updates, when you get time to finish them up :)

Since I haven't used EQEmu 0.5 at all since the time it was released (at which
point more or less all you could do was move around), I'd like to ask - how functional is the latest version (0.5 DR5) compared to 0.44? I.E are most things like skills/abilities, spells, AI, merchants, quest scripts, tradeskills etc. working again now? I'd like to know this so I can decide whether to stick with 0.44 or to convert my world data to 0.5.
Also, are there any significant DB struct changes relating to NPCs, tradeskills or merchants in 0.5?

Check this (http://www.everquestserver.com/status.php) out for current progress.

OK, thanks for the info - looks like 0.5 DR5 is at least as complete as 0.44 and probably more so.
Is there anywhere you can download the compiled binaries, as opposed to CVS source code?

Your previous friend who compiled for you is probably your best bet. I think you know about whom I speak.
