Newbie Pb about [error] bla bla

I have a single question....
I use DB 4.4 using minilogin all in single localhost

When i launch minilogin = ok ( not use miniloginaccounts.ini )
when i lauch world have error -->
[status] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EQEMu 0.4.4
[error] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EQEMu 0.4.4
have only this error
what doe it mean ?

After lauch Boot5zones.bat it find my server
but have error 1017 but its another pb...........

I read all post but find nothin that help me

If someone brilliant have an idea...

I got that error every time and it never stopped anyone from playing.


As to the 1017, are you able to play on the 4.4 servers still up?

All seem to be ok on my local server execpt this error and also an error -->

Loading EQ time of day ..."./eqtime.cfg" is not a valid EQtime file etc

--> there is a prefered path to install game and eqemu when i using DB4.4 ?

--> Create local server is working with eqemu 0.4.4 ?

To run a 5.0 server you need a compiler, and some programming experience. My advise is to just wait for 5.0 to get done then run it once everything is aval already compiled.

Just a debug message, I removed this in 0.5.0-DR3. It's not a crash, as you can see from your output.

If you are able to play on other peoples 044 servers , then you must have the older client from dec. 2002.
You said you could play on 044 servers and a 5???
Not possible , you either can play 044 , or you can play 050.
If you can log into 044 servers , then you probably need the older version of minilogin.exe and you need to set up the miniloginaccounts.ini , and add an account to the DB.

In fact im mistake im cannot play online with 044 server
AND this is certainly my prob with local serv


So i must have eqmu 05 but need probably compiled it ?
There is no "near completed version"?
I have a eqemu-0.5-DR2.rar ( 6.6Mo)
With this version i can hope running a local server ?
Or someone have a link for a "pack" 050 without compiling ?

We don't distribute binaries for developer releases. You better hope you have a good anti-virus program running!

You must compile your own.
