My brother and i were talking the other day, and hes thinking about building a server as well, we'd like to know what everyone would think about a server, that is a single expansion *no old world, or previous expansions included*, this would be with only Vah Shir as a race. This would be the Vah shir's point of view on how they once were before, Norrathians came.
So basically, you would play a Vah shir, living your life on Luclin. While you cant leave this place, it would be just like the plain old oldword, with no expansions. Only, the vah shir's tale. And ofcourse...Less races... Any no filthy shorts!! (which are ofcourse, the plague of norrath)

*nearly* all the races that arent vah shir will be removed from luclin, except a few "Special" travelers whom just discovored the way of teleporting to Luclin. This would be for very special quests and such.

It would most likely be as close to the real Luclin as possible, including all quests, possibly a few more, as well as drops.


I just went through this rather quickly to give you an idea what it would be like, questions and comments are welcome. He (we'd) like to hear your thoughts please.

Ah yes, and he wants me to note specifically, and i quote "Ask them not to use this idea on any of the servers, it would be stealing my idea!"

sounds like it'd be fun. would it be legit, semi-legit, or non-legit?
and will it be ONLY vah shir? like what about npcs? will you kill other vah shir npcs to level up? or will there still be like centi and sonics and stuff like that

Would be Legit.

As for the classes, Vah Shir would be introduced to a few more.

Mainly all Vah Shir, very few NPC's & PC's of other races.

so to level up we would kill other vah shir? or level by quests or something

Mobs will be in just as normal, Vah Shir is just the race you play. Some mobs will have to be switched.
