i have a question, do i need to have every expansion installed in order to play EQemu? i have played eqemu b4 but i quit then wanted to get back again :P , i made back up cd's and put every file in my eqemu\patcher folder i tried to log in, and when i typed in my password it crashed.........

No, you don't need all the expansions. In fact, you don't need any of them to play.

I assume you were playing version 4.4 and I think tyour problem is that the eqhost.txt file changed. Open it up in your everquest folder and make sure it looks like this:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5999"
}

[DeletedUser]

As scorp said, they aren't required.

All emulator accounts have all expansions enabled by default, so the ones that are functioning with the emulator, if you have it installed, you'll be able to have full access over it, even if you don't use the CD Key.

ok, so what darkyth is saying is that i need the expansions installed(example going to control panel and add\remove programs then looking for "Uninstall Everquest Shadows of Luclin")

i have every file/zone file right , but i dont have any expansions installed, maybe thats why i cant even get to the server screen :shock:
