1044 on create database eq;

I get the 1044 error that states this when I type in the command in mysql.exe

mysql> ERROR 1044: Access denied for user '@localhost' to database 'eq'

I am on a router, but should have all my firewalls disabled.

Also i donno if this makes a difference but im on a multi person computer with administrator access.

Any idea on how to fix this... thanks

Click on the search button up near the top of the page, type in 1044, and try some of the suggestions in the resulting threads.
