I'm having a little trouble logging in using the minilogin.exe
I'm able to enter my user name and password, but then get an "Incorect version" message.

I've searched through the messageboard. but haven't found anything that relates to a standalone server. as a note. world and boot5whatever are not displaying any errors.

please help :cry:

It sounds to me like you are running the 4.4 login server with the 5.0 emu. Try downloading the 5.0 minilogin from cvs.

I have the EQEMu 0.4.4 and Minilogin 0.5.0+. thats all i could find to download.

Do you have the 4.4 compatible client, i.e. last patched in December 2002 ?

should be recent up to about 3 months ago. i pulled this install from a server back up from before i quit...

OK, that's why you are getting the error, your EQ client is too recent to work with the 4.4 server.

wait for 5.0 to get current with live, then DL and compile it. dont ask for an ETA on when it will be current it will happen when it happens.
