Game crashing back to server screen

I log on then click on a server click on my character then try to load into the game. Then about 4 seconds later i get kicked back to the server select screen. Anyoine know whats the problem?

ether a server issue if you have just tried one, or if it happens on all you have the wrong patch to play.

I get the same thing, on all servers I try to log into from the EQEmu server list. I sure it's the patch. I've even reverted to a backup copy of my eqgame.exe and eqmain.dll files... didn't work. There's more to it than that I guess!
