Where in the play guide did you see to DL anything?

and before you post about this too, EQEMU is broke with the current live patch you need to wait till we catch back up, there is no magic way around this for new people. ETA on the fixx is 2007.

but i could play with the version from 12 dec ?!?!something?!?!

You cant back patch. If your up to date you cant play inless you have the files or a back up and dont ask for it here

and you dont persay download EQemu you already have it read this guide to setup evenrquest to run off EQEMU servers

Well I saw the title noob and that fits me.
I followed the how to play guild and I also ran the new patcher but when I click on the new shortcut it takes me to the regular EQ login and logs me into EQ so I have to use my sony login and I see the normal EQ servers such as Bristlebane.

Could anyone please let me know what I maybe doing wrong?

You CAN play on the 5.0 servers, not all the features are working yet, but enough of them to have fun are working.

Thanks. I noticed we do not use the shortcut created in the guide with the patchme at the end of the target line but just use the new patcher.

Going to have some EQ fun now :)
