It never happened using the same DB on my old windows server, could it be a probem that crept in compiling under redhat 9?

I'll try uploading a different db and see what happens.

I've finally managed to get my zone servers compiled and running on my linux box, but now have 1 more problem...
When engaging in combat, the opponent becomes invisible when they get close to me....

I'm about to switch to a colocated linux box on a 150Mb/s connection to see if either of these things help

I got it to work by making a fresh instal and...

I got it to work by making a fresh instal and patching it to live, then I had both files instead of just the one (spells_en.txt, spells_us.txt) . I then copied these over to my zone servers.

Extend Timeout delay for telnet console

Since this morning I've been unable to connect to the login server using either the client or world server.
I have also tried pinging the login server and get a Request Timed Out :cry:
