The Operation Timed out

I continue to get this error. I am first time to project 99. I have red the FAQ and followed all instructions. I have made sure my eqhost.txt file is correct without and spaces or returns etc etc,...

Problem with server login, wont connect

I am unable to connect. I do not get a timed out error it just keeps trying to connect. The faq says this is because I have a patched launcher but the one I am using is straight from everquest...

Blinking black screen, no login, FAQ solution didnt work

Getting the black blinking screen then nothing, never even tries to boot up. Under the FAQ it suggested a few steps such as redoing the resolution on my screen and in the game using optionseditor....
