Was playing around and got a pretty good looking Vindi with race 189, size 30. Problem I ran into is that making him lvl 70 causes a problem with hits....

Which version of EqEmu are you using? If you are using 0.4.4 or something older with an Everquest dir that is patched to the latest from EQLive then that's why. You can download a alpha/beta of 0.5.0...
