Dialup does not work fine. Me and my friends all installed EQ the same way at the same time. Clean install from CDs (all expansions) and then fully patched up and I got Directx 9 and newest drivers...

same with me, create a character, then when i try to enter the world it just takes me back to server select screen after giving me a message that says "You have been Disconnected"

Yep same here but I get a message that says that I have been disconnected even before I get into the game. I have original EQ installed (no expansions) would that have anything to do with it?
