Can't seem to log on servers at that menu

I have been able to login to the Scorpious world twice, but haven't been able to since. And I can't seem to join that world now or any others. Even though I see plenty to try out. Any ideals here?

First time, crashing to desktop when logging in

I put in my login and password then it seem sto just go to desktop. I made my eqhost file read only, it kept adding Host=xp-smithcell:7308. not sure why, in any case I don ' t know what else to do....
