Well....wanted to post an update. Completely uninstalled EQ, and EQEMU (programs and databases). Did a clean install. Everything worked perfectly. So still have no clue as to what was keeping...

Thank you for your suggestions....i did re-remark those 2 lines as per Trev's suggestion.....same thing.

Then I changed the addresses per cole....same thing....minilogin shows the connection, but...
