That's the problem, I can't log onto the database...

That's the problem, I can't log onto the database using anything other than the root account, even the login/pw I make when I first set-up the "../windows/my.ini" via the "WinMySQLAdmin" doesn't...

MySQL; Unable to create users... (this is a new one)

I've logged on as root; ( mysql.exe --user=root eq ) ... did the:

mysql> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO eqemu@localhost
-> IDENTIFIED BY 'testpass' WITH GRANT OPTION;

..and I always get...

eqclassic is a term used to refer to the original...

eqclassic is a term used to refer to the original everquest, no expansions.

eqlive means the official everquest, on sony servers... not eqemu.

For those of us....

... stuck with the up-to-date version of EQ, issued by the sony patcher, do we have any options that will allow us to get back on EQEmu? Or are we stuck offline untill the new eqemu *gasp* patcher is...
