Magically, the problem disappeared on EQLive when SoL became active....

update on gmax

finally downloaded gmax. it is a nice, quick program. Unfortunately I also saw some things that don't seem right.

-file format is gmax instead of max. Unless I find a gmax->max
and max->gmax...

The game support is because Discreet is trying to get all the game makers to use their software instead of writing their own editors, viewers, or plug-ins. I am fairly certain that Q3 pak only works...

Definitely is the problem. Something has to go there, either 127.0.0.1 or you 192.168.1.101 IP. I use my 192 IP there, but then I use two computers.

I liked the image because it was color coded and fairly easy to pick out the meaning of various regions.

First, if you are using 0.2, it shouldn't be asking for any map files -- although i see that the npc movement routines are still in 0.2, as they should be.

Life is simplier, easier with 0.2.

maybe start with chequip.s3d

take a peek at chequip.s3d, if you haven't done so already.
That file contains the models of all the gods, players, elements, and some more things. The animation files are there too for the models....
