No tutorial tells you that you should have 1 row affected here. As for the 1017, unless you happen to find something searching, you are probably screwed (this has happened to me before)

Every time I go onto eqemu CVS, the latest compile for perl is well, not the latest possible. Would you guys want me to compile a perl version? I can at least do it as often as I update my server...

This is merely an opinion.. and as it has been proven, non legit gets boring and thats why most servers are entirely legit, and rather than letting you do whatever, they set up custom storylines,...
