Did you follow the step on creating a shortcut on your desktop? Use the eqgame.exe patchme method... DONT use everquest.exe, and dont forget the word patchme...

To get around this just edit your load5zones.bat...

To get around this just edit your load5zones.bat and add more zones like so:
start zone . <IP> 8000 <IP>
start zone . <IP> 8001 <IP>
And so on, depending on how many zones you want.. Every line...

I think that what he is referring to is a combo modem/router.. A lot of ISP's nowadays are giving them for DSL connections.... This COULD be the problem, as you will need to forward your internal IP...
