If not, I think character select itself is controlled via the user interface, but I could very well be wrong. I haven't messed with that at all.

I haven't had an issue with the client hanging on zoning. TGC and local test server work fine for me on RoF2; It's probably an issue server-side.

I have absolutely no idea what live had for resting. Anyway, you don't need to put that code anywhere. It's already in the source. Yes, anything above SoF+ will allow you to rest.
