I don't think just adding the texture files to the .s3d archive is enough, you need to reference them in the .wld file as well as you mention. I think you can do this by creating extra 0x03 fragments...

I realized that the timeout used when connecting to a server was set too low which made it impossible to connect to EQEmu servers with default send rate thresholds. Getting from server selection to...

I have no idea if it is used any more on Live but this 'crypto system' is so weak and broken that they shouldn't be using it in 2013. I do respect keeping it closed, though ultimately it's your...

Loadable crypto for Linux

I have been working on making the Windows loadable crypto code work on Linux. This turned out to be mostly removing the #ifdefs and implementing

COMMITTED: Simpler implementation of CRC16

I have tried to rewrite the CRC16 code (which looks like it's been generated from some assembly from the official client) used for checksuming packets. I ended up with code that looked very much like...

It is. Thanks! I pushed my local Git repo to Github (https://github.com/pixelbound/equilibre) if you want to take a look. This should build on both Windows and Linux (haven't tested MacOS X) using...

I think one issue you will probably run into is that many characters have few or no animations you can load through 0x14 fragments. I am pretty sure the reason was to save space instead of...

I was flipping Z before but not setting the winding order so that's why I was surprised when half of the scene disappeared when I tried to turn on face culling! It seems to work fine now.

I...
