sorry, i'm a bit confused by this
in each of the added values in that formula, TRUNC is a multiplier..
so, if at any time trunc is zero, then each of the added values will be zero
so, if trunc is ever zero, hp is instantly zero
what's the deal?

if the former were true, trunc would either be zero or a negative number
if the ladder were true, then a higher stamina would actually benefit
