Problem getting starting up

this is connecting straight to the patch server and my friends say it is supposed to omit that. Can someone please tell me my problem

make a second shortcut to eqgame.exe on your desktop, right click it, select properties.

go to where is says target,

("C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest Trilogy\eqgame.exe" by default)

after the quotes after eqgame.exe put one space and type "patchme" without the quotes and hit OK

this will make it skip the patcher and go straight to the EULA

assuming you installed everquest to the default directory, the target should look like:

"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest Trilogy\eqgame.exe" patchme

(btw, the reason you make a copy of the eqgame.exe on your desktop is so that when you do want to patch to live you have a button already ready to do it )

Pretty sure that if you followed the guide and made a shortcut on your desktop, you probably made it to everquest.exe. Make sure that the shortcut is to eqgame.exe. Also, be sure to change your eqhost again. It will have gone back to the eq settings.
