Well, that is kind of general information... What version emu are you running? When did you patch last? If you read about the error then you would realize that is is mainly due to version error (your client+patch isnt compatible with the server you are trying to run) or a NAT issue, which means you are behind a firewall, or router that needs to be configured... Provide us with your world.exe, and zone.exe output when this happens, and your contents of your loginserver.ini, load5zones.bat, files...

Are you running your own server from your PC? What Version of EQEMU are you running? 5.2, 5.3, or 5.5? Also, post your boot5zones output, world.exe output, and post your boot5zones.bat please, also Loginserver.ini...

You can't use 5.2. No recent version of the EQ patch will work with it. You have to use either 5.3 or 5.5. If you patched since February then you have to use 5.5, if you patched before that you can use 5.3 or patch now and use 5.5. There are guides in the How to forum for both of theses.

Default more info...

Are you running your eqgame.exe from same computer that world.exe and zone.exe are on? If not, you will have to add the apropriate entries in the hosts files on each. I had this issue when I first made my server. Others could log on but I could not. Somehow external DNS service couldn't route me to me...

Since you are running a different server you might have something set up differently or have missed an error message that is relevant... Oh, and also post the contents of your eqhost.txt file....

All of that is fine, and your "boot.exe" is zone.exe, I don't know why your zone.exe is closing like that, I think it means that it is corrupt.

Would still be nice if you posted the contents of the "boot5zones.bat" which you still have yet to do though.

Answer to your question is no.

Oh sorry, got confused...

This is what it says when you run zone.exe by itself

Code:
Usage: zone zone_name address port worldaddress
Since the attempt to run zone.exe failed it gives you the usage and then closes. The point of the .bat file is to fill in those missing variables.

If you notice boot5zones.bat says

Code:
 start zone . 199.99.99.99 7995 199.99.99.99
Just some insite.
