Default ATTN: a bit of advice on network problems...

Last night I completely reinstalled the EMU on my server PC, but also swithed out my router for my old 4-port hub. I also used minilogin.exe instead of the publiclogin.exe to log into my server, and magicly it worked. Im about 95% sure that the router was skrewing me over so for all of the rest of you out there agonizing over why this wont work, it may be your router. I think this is caused because the router dynamicly assigns IP addresses when you start up your PC, or mine was just a router from hell. Anyway these are jsut some thoughts on all the problems with PublicLogin.exe and the problems with it. Also, Minilogin.exe works great on a network b/c multiple people can log in under eqemu/eqemu login and pass. Just be sure not to try and log into the same character someone else is on or it will mess things up badly... Hope this helps some of you fix some of the problems you all are experiencing
