Evertorn update
I've started posting up some lore for the Evertorn server since it's nearing beta. You can find it here
I'll post more chapters over time as they're ready, so keep checking back.
I'm also accepting beta applications, so if you're interested in helping test once beta starts, sign up on the Evertorn forums and PM killspree. Not everyone will be selected as I want to have a controlled testing environment, so keep this in mind when submitting it.
There's also a basic website with some info and a F.A.Q. up at http://home.earthlink.net/~kcv11281/index.html, but it's nowhere near finished. I'll be posting lots more class and general server info there over time.

Interesting story =). It sounds like you want to do a lot with the Evertorn server. Right now, I am looking for server partners. Planning to do own login-server, was wondering if you wanted to partner with The Path of Chaos Server. I am going to be asking 4 other servers if they want to partner up, that way, when we all have our own loginserver, it will be the best, because it will have the best servers on it, The Path of Chaos Server, yours, and such. Going to probably do a main website for the login-server that connects to all the servers =D.

You're going to have to build this login server, prove you have the know-how to do it. and Have your own server before anybody is likely to partner up with you.

Sotonin, I know you are trying to help, but, you treat me like I know absolutely nothing about servers. I am just getting tired of it all. I am inviting people to partner up with the server we are creating. Thank you for your input, but I really don't need it anymore =). Been saying kind of bad things since I started this project. If you don't like how I am doing it, fine, but you don't need to tell me how to do what I have been doing for 2 years now... I don't have that many posts on this name because it is a new one. I have 3 forums names, and have been changing them ever since I really joined emu. This one is my last one though, and never changing it again.

I think what sotonin is trying to say is that so many people have tried and claimed they would write an open source login server and all have failed, or all have failed that ever said anything on these forums anyway. So its hard to believe someone who appears to be new would create a loginserver. Im not doubting your ability, just restating his probable point of view.

C++ is wonderful.

http://home.archshadow.com/~daeken/eqls.tar.bz2 this is what me and GXTi started long ago. Take it and build off of it if you like... we used the worldserver code as a base so you'll have to modify it to support the new underlying protocol the LS uses. Enjoy :P

Tx guys.
Also, I am just getting a little ticked at Sotonin, lol, because I have wanted to make this server for 1 1/2 years now, and finally, I am getting to do it. This is my dream for 1 1/2 years, hehe. I am going to make it the best it can be. I don't care what it takes.
It will have the top internet connections and servers, top sites, top everything, hehe. Sotonin doesn't realize I am serious and am really trying to make this into something. I am changing everything around, to where it will almost be a brand new game =D.
