Perl is not working atm on 0.5.8 so if you would have the patience to wait i think the Dev's would love it. Thankyou for your time!

Actually, it is working, just parts of it aren't, or are reported not to work, IE, sub EVENT_ITEM is reportedly not working. Other than that I have successfully set up a 5.8 server with perl and had quests that worked fine.
