Default well omg...

OK, i've tried everything from reinstalling eq client and dling and using the playing guide to try to get eqemu to run , my shortcut:
"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme is not working for me. its gives me error eqgame.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. and the host file is correct. i AM using the everquest.exe icon to do the shortcut and there are 2 others i've tried-none work.
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

i have no idea what is wrong and i would like to help get rid of this problem of sorts.

I tried this emulator at a friends house that had eq and it worked just fine.

If it is giving you that error immediately after you run it, try switiching back to the sony login servers and do a detailed file check on your client. Probably a corrupt file or something.

Just thought I might put this suggestion in. It worked for me in some cases when I ran into this error. Open up eqclient.ini and change the full screen and windowed resolution 1024 x 768 and save it and exit. Not sure if this will help or not but it has worked for me in the past.

That sounds worth a try, windowed eq would be fun >.<
