Default Did I break my install?

So Eqemulauncher is down, and that's the only way I've ever connected to p99 before, so I edited my shortcut to EQ to my titanium client and loaded the game, but still got the little bar that says "patching everquest" before the actual patcher, so I immediately X'ed out of it. Now when I try to use my shortcut it says "Could not establish a connection, please check your internet connection or contact eqtech@whateversiteitwas"

Basically did that little patcher bar coming up break my titanium install and am I going to have to reinstall?

Probably nuked it, you don't use Everquest.exe, you need to use EQgame.exe which is also in the folder, at which point, you need to

Code:
C:\Users\DCurry\Desktop\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme
if it doesn't have the patchme after eqgame.exe you're doing it wrong.

Best bet is to reinstall Titanium provided you have your discs, as I do not, and will not condone piracy.

Hey Maze EQ,

Personally I Own all of my EQ Copies, but these days you simply can not buy EQ anymore. What is a person to do if they simply are not allowed to purchase EQ anymore? I do not like the P-Word anymore than anyone else.

Dig through them old hard drives, I think I've got my original disc and kunark stored as ISOs somewhere haha, always make a backup, personally I have 5 folders, Titanium, SoF, SoD, HoT, and UF, I mean, it's up to you to determine how to install the game.

I like my Microsoft certifications, so I'd rather them not be pulled by doing the P-word.

P.S, May also be able to system restore to a point before you launched Everquest.exe, and it could, in fact, fix the issue.

I suppose it does show on Amazon. Titanium, and looks like SoF are available. Personally I have my old titanium discs, and I have them stored on an external HDD as ISO's. Bought SoD and UF from steam before they halted the downloads. Might just fire up Live and get my free VoA just for grins. Used to have 4 copies of Titanium floating around, but only have the one now. Wife tossed the others.
