Default Server Not Responding at Char select

Hello all. I've been playing EQEmu for a couple years, usually I can figure out my problems but now I'm stuck. I haven't logged in for a couple months, I am using the same Titanium client on the same Windows vista, but now I I consistently get a crash (no longer what server I choose) when I try to enter the world as my old toons. It seems like a lag crash, but it happens every time. "The Server is not responding."

It crashes when I try to create a new character as well, when it goes to the "submitting name to server for approval" step.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help, sorry if this has been covered recently - I didn't see anything quite like this.

Frustration bump. Does anyone have an idea? I've tried a clean re-install, and on a seperate PC. Is it related to my account specifically?

Once you get as far as char select, it is entirely up to that particular game server itself. You should post on their forums to see if they have any more information. They should have logs, etc., that shows what is going on to assist them in debugging the problem.

If you have tried a clean install of Titanium from the disks and even on a separate PC and it still doesn't work, the most likely problem is a port issue. If you have port forwarding set on your router, try disabling it. Or, if you play from some place that might have a proxy, it is likely they are blocking the required ports for playing. Also, try disabling Windows firewall to see if that helps at all.
