Black SCreen and Boot to Server Page

OK i'm sure all of yall of heard this about hmm.... more then enough times. But i'm going to post so that it is read more and maybe some one knows something about it.

Any way like I was saying, when i try to log in it goes to the server screen, and the character screen just fine. But when wait for the name to be accepeted it just sits there for a sec or 2 and then boots me to server page.

If yall have any idea's plz tell. I know its not a patch prob cuase i've already updated.

chase chase, if the server your connecting to isn't updated to the latest EQEmu release you will not be able to play on it. look for servers that are 0.3.11

I was having exactly the same problem.
I host my own server, on the same computer I play. I also use the public login.
This error occured until I changed the IP in the Boot5zones.bat file to my public IP (the one given by my ISP).
Before, it was the local address (either localhost or 192.168.0.1).
