before i try logging into a server i figure it is wise for me to ask... can my rediculously old computer ... that UsED to play EQ just fine until the whole luclin update.... get me into playing eq here?

i didnt see anything bout this in the faq or the readme... forgive me if i am being a blind dolt

i know not what model it is.. i dont think its even a pentuim 2..... but as i said.. it played just fine with the original release and whatever that frozen land update thingy was called......then luclin came along and i could no longer play....

why they didnt leave at least one server open for us computerly handicapped i dont know!.. the sods

i hope you can reunite me with ole norrath again

Well,

Im playing on a celeron 333 (clocked to 416) with 384mb ram and a Geforce256 with 32mb on it...

I have bad framerate (prob. around 5-10 in most zones) but I can play

Just turn off all new models etc and give it a try... You wont know before you try

I find using EQclassic models to be quite fun actually. I forgot to enable my SoL models, and I ended up remembering how fun it was not to be all round and stuff lol, so i kept the EQclassic models.
