Default Populating a zone with the EQEmu Admin

Hi,
I have aquestion regarding populating zones with EQEmu Admin. How long on average does it take to populate a whole zone for use with the emulator? Lets say West Karana. How long on average would it take to enter all the:

1. NPCs (Merchants, Guards, etc...)
2. Mobs (Creatures)
3. AI Pathing for mobs & npcs
4. Doors
5.Weather and day/night cycles

I'm just curious to know. I want to possibly start creating my own server but I'm not sure if I should wait till the emulator is a bit more complete. If populating isn't too hard then I may start sooner than later.

Thanks
John

Default ah man it would take days

it would take for ever like 5-6 strait hours. try ingame zone placing by using #spawn and when you get the spawn made use #zonespawn add to add it to the db then use the admin tool for adidng loot tables and stuff

Default

I am doing this right now. It took me 7 hours to populte qrg. I added a guildmaster for every class, a few vendor selling custom items and I populated the cave with bears and gnolls. I still have to add loot tables and maybe quests if I can figure out the whole scripting thing. I do like stated above, #spawn a mob. Level them and select their race and class the n#zonespawn add them. The hard work is worth the result but you need to have a lot of free time.
