Default Help!!! - Others can't login to my server! =(

My server seems to be running fine. I have no errors in my world.exe or my 5 zone windows. My server shows up unlocked on server select screen. I can login to it fine. But no one else can login to it.

Somone suggested I was behind a router (I'm on DSL, but my ISP could have done it I guess). This being that my ip (one that works) that comes up in cmd prompt and mySQL is different than the one that comes up in www.whatismyip.com.

So I set up a DNS name at www.no-ip.com (or .org) and tried using that in some fields as the "Nat" sticky walkthrough says and I don't seem to be making progress. Could anyone please help? I'm on mIRC a lot looking to remedy this situation, and I can be contacted on AIM (Yelzzebubs) and MSN (strife3000@hotmail.com).

If you could please post any ideas or link to any threads/forums/walkthroughs I may have missed I would very much appreciate it. Thank You!

Attempt to put your router in DMZ mode to your computer, the setup for this is different for each comp, so, I can't help ya much there, just kinda point ya in the right direction...

This needs to be moved to general.

Running xp? If so, forget hosting a server, thats about far as you can get.

also some ISPs wont let you host a server ether unless you pay them, or if you a router/LAN there is really no way to host a server there is but you have to know you router from the inside out
