Zone9x problem !!

I have set up my eqemu properly to connect to myself, but lately i have been getting an error when I run boot5zone.bat and it loads zone9x.exe. The program seems to read spdat.eff and all right but it comes up and says

InitWorldServer failed
Entering sleep mode

It does it every time i run boot5zone.exe and my server shows up as "locked" on the select screen. I have a copy of eq that i use the emu in previous to the recent patch, so i dont think there is any problem there. I have tried re-installing and re-configuring everything, with a fresh copy of version .2.3 from the page and everything

Any suggestions anyone may have about how i can fix this woudl be great.

I don't have a direct answer for you yet, since I don't know how to reproduce the problem. But I notice you mention 0.2.3. If that isn't a typo, then I believe the current release level is 0.2.4 or higher, since there was a patch and a patch response today.

Smoke a cigar and relax for a while today. Then get the greatest and lastest of the release and try again. Maybe your problem will magically disappear.

Not a great answer but the best I can do at this time.
