Connecting to Eqemu Steps

#1. register user/pass for emu at http://forums.eqemu.net/profile.php?mode=register
#2. Patch Everquest to live.
#3. this step is optional you can run this out of your eq directory or you can from this point copy the eq files into a 2nd directory so you can have eq live and eq emu.
#4.download the eqemu patcher at http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/e...r.exe?download
#5.After patching download eqw 2.3Click here for eqw 2.3

#6.Unzip eqw 2.3 into your everquest folder (or your copy of eq folder)
#7.edit your eqhost.txt to

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"64.81.113.122:5999"
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin3.eqemu.net:5999"
}

*not sure if patcher edits your eqhost or not so good idea to edit it just to check.*

#8. run eqw.exe and select eqgame.exe and make sure nuthing is checked in the boxes.
