1146 Error?

Hi,
I keep getting this error when I load world.exe. Can anyone help me? I searched the website and found one post that might be related, but the asnwer from one poster was to cut and paste some code into a txt file or SQL file then run it. My question was run what? How? Anyhow, maybe someone here can help me and tell me what is wrong with my world.exe file. The error is:

unix_timestamp() FROM varia
bles where unix_timestamp(ts) >= 0' #1146: Table 'eq.variables' doesn't exist
