Default Create Character Enter World then back to login screen?

Hi,
Can anyone help me here? I finally seem to have the 1017 error out of the way. I log in, and then create my character. I then try to start in Qeynos. It goes to the typical load screen before dumping you into Qeynos2. Then the screen flashes sort of and I'm back at the initial login screen. Does anyone know of this error and how to fix it? I quickly looked through the forum, but didn't see anyhting and I can't think of the appropriate keywords to search the forums for a pre-existing solution, so if you can help me then that is great, or if you know of a thread about this issue please post it here for me. Thanks

Ohh here is my other necessary info and a screenshot of my world.exe and zone dos boxes.

I am running WinXP Pro on a AMD 1.33ghz Athlon with 512mb RAM

Any help is greatly appreciated.
John

PS: For some reason the pic looks sqished a bit. I'll try to fix that later. Right now its 6am and I haven't slept yet. I hope someone can tell me where to find this fix.

Its most likely a DB error. What version of the .EXE's are you using (CVS.. 5.1.. 5.0?)

And what DB are you using?

My friend is using the same versions of both and it works for him, although he runs his server through minilogin. I am using the latest version of 5.1 that was released. I downloaded it yesterday around 5:30pm EST as for the database I am using the moving database alpha1. MW_051_052_alpha1.zip

Yesterday my friend brought over his laptop and we hooked it up to my network and ran his server. I was able to log in. So, my setup for the server version and databse is identical, just getting that boot out problem now.

Hi, I really hope someone can help me. I just erased the database and re-installed it from scratch. I even downloaded it again before I re-installed. Anyhow, I did everything as listed in the guidebook for setup and I logged in. Thank God for NO 1017 error, but after creating my character and trying to start in Qeynos, I was again dumped back to the login screen for EQ. Also, I tried making a new character and starting in Halas. Still booted out. :<

Can anyone help me? Does anyone know of this issue?

I also took a new snapshot of the world and zone messages. You can check them out here.

Just on a whim, did you do a thorough patch for EQ?
