Need Your Ideas!

In a day or two we will be upgrading the Scorpious2k server to DR2. As we have in the past, all chars will be saved by converting them to the new format.

For those who don't know, the S2K server is designed to appear like eqlive, but with some twists and surprises. It is NOT an eqlive clone and never will be. The fun is in the differences.

I am sorry to say that many of our GMs haven't returned to us since we converted to 5.x and realize this has been a problem. We are working on finding the lost ones and/or replacements.

The big question is, once we are DR2, what else can we do to make the server better? We want to hear your ideas. The server exists for the purpose of players having fun, and believe that you, the players, can help us make it better.

Well, i don't know about the rest of you, but I feel that these emu's are better than eqlive because we CAN solo to 65. Do not take out the itemsummon and the potions, and you should be all set. Without the potions, your kind forced to group for heals and buffs, which sux. If I had wanted to play on a server that forces me to group, i'de still play live.

I think the server lacks a non eqlive feel. If you can get players to notice something new right off the bat you'll get alot of people to stay.

Letting people use #itemsummon would be a dumb move, we have Brightblade, Fish-Wolf, Raid-Addicts and The Infernal Den which are all successful great semi-legit servers, but legit players need a place to go too.

I think that all servers should have some custom content... I know that scorpious2k does, and I think it's awesome! But before that happens, I think we should mainly focus on getting eqemu up to live likeness and hopefully some dial up friendliness.
